Hot Chocolate at Chococo, Winchester

With winter feeling like it's never going to end (and lets face it, if this year is anything like last year, the worst is still yet to come) the need for hot chocolate is very real. Chococo first opened its doors in Dorset in 2002 and has since set up a beautiful little café in Winchester.

The café is around a 2 minute walk from the Guildhall and over the road from Rick Stein on the High Street. You will be able to easily see it's bright and jolly sign above the door.

As well as creating extremely tasty chocolate gifts and handmade luxury chocolates, Chococo also offers the most amazing range of hot chocolates. Their offering allows you to choose your favourite chocolate by melting down pure origin chocolate into local fresh milk, delicious! I've added a photo below of the full range.

Personally, I have been working my way down the list and am still yet to try their white hot chocolate. So far I have been really impressed with every hot chocolate I've been lucky enough to have. The café does (for obvious reasons) get very busy so it's also really useful to know that you can get a Chococo hot chocolate as a take away too! (and they still give you your handmade chocolate too, no compromise here!)

Once you've selected which chocolate drink you fancy, you can then opt to add a mini mountain of marshmallows. Yum! If that was indulgent enough, you then also get a cheeky little chocolate treat on the side too. Pure bliss.

So if you need a chocolatey pick-me-up this month, why not head down to Chococo and warm yourself from the inside out with a yummy hot chocolate? You know where I'll be this weekend...
