Bottomless Brunch - Incognito Winchester
I am a big fan of a bottomless brunch so this weekend Sisters Dine Out decided to see that Winchester has to offer!
The venue itself is actually really nice and has been decorated to have a 'Victorian' feel. I have to admit, I really like the way it has been transformed. Apparently it used to be a YMCA café (according to our lovely waitress!)
The brunch itself costs £29.99 per person and is served between 12 & 4pm every Saturday and Sunday. For this £29.99 you have 1.5 hours of bottomless prosecco, wine or beer and then two courses off their menu. We of course opted for prosecco ;) After all that booze and two mains, you could also help yourself to unlimited (yes, thats right...UNLIMITED!!) cake!
We settled on a mixture of baked camembert and a selection of cold meats with breads and mozzarella, followed by some really rather tasty carrot cake and coffee & walnut cake. Yum!
My second dish was the Baked Camembert with bread and a chutney. At first my Camembert was a little over cooked, but they were happy to remake it for me and the second time it was gooey perfection!
Although the environment was nice, we were a little disappointed to see that the prosecco was actually from Aldi, which wouldn’t have been an issue, however we ordered an extra bottle after our allotted time zone and were shocked to see that they were charging a staggering £20 a bottle!! I appreciate there is always a bit of a mark up when you drink alcohol out but even we thought this was a little steep! Especially as been as we had been told this had actually been discounted too! It put a little dampener on our experience but on the whole, we had a really enjoyable experience at Incognito and I definitely want to go back and try it their cocktails!!!

The cold meat selection was brought out first and I really enjoyed this platter. There was a nice array of meats and I really liked the fact that there were different styles of breads too. A small but nice touch.
